The Jeep Wrangler JL vs. The Jeep Wrangler JK

Introducing the newest and most capable member of the Jeep Wrangler family: The fourth-generation Jeep Wrangler JL. Stepping into a legendary vehicle family means that it has to earn its spot, so we’ve compared the Jeep Wrangler JL to its predecessor, the Jeep Wrangler JK.

When put side-by-side, the JL Wrangler stands out with some upgrades to the JK Wrangler. On the outside, the JL comes with a slightly-redesigned grille, a racked windshield, and three different top options. It sits on available 33-inch BF Goodrich tires which gives it 10.9-inches of ground clearance and the ability to drive through up to 30-inches of water. Inside, it upgrades the combination of luxury and off-road efficiency and features a fourth-generation Uconnect® Infotainment System. Off-road, the JL Wrangler has a maximum approach angle of 44 degrees, and a maximum departure angle of 37 degrees. Currently, it comes with the same I4 and V6 engine as the JK Wrangler, but next year, the JL Wrangler is expected to be available with a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 engine.

Now, we at Bournival Jeep are so excited for this new addition to the Wrangler family, and we can’t wait for you to get behind the wheel and experience it for yourself. So visit our dealership and test drive the Jeep Wrangler JL today. We proudly serve the drivers of Portsmouth, NH.
