2023 Jeep Compass Trims and Packages

Sometimes you already know what vehicle you want and all that's left is for you to pick out the package and trim level. The last thing you want is to expect features that only come on another trim level or to overpay for something you don't care about.

There are a lot of options for you to consider with the 2023 Jeep Compass, and our guide here will break down some of the biggest changes and differences with each possible trim level and package for the 2023 Jeep Compass.

2023 Jeep Compass Trims & Packages

With the 2023 Jeep Compass there's no shortage of trims and packages with eight different trim levels and tons of packages to pick from. We've highlighted some of the major differences for each trim level and package option for you here.

Sport

While the Sport trim level is the base package for the 2023 Jeep Compass, it still has plenty of features we're sure you'll love. For starters, the 2023 Jeep Compass Sport comes with the Advanced Safety Suite, which includes the following safety features: a forward collision warning system, a blind spot monitoring system, and a drowsy driver alert system.

It also comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and you can access and control everything from the 10.1-inch touchscreen. The Sport trim level comes with 17" wheels, and like every Compass, it has a 4x4 system paired with a 2.0L engine that pushes 200 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque.

Latitude

A step up from the Sport trim level is the Latitude. This trim level comes with everything the Sport has and then some great advanced features. These premium features include a premium-wrapped steering wheel, power-heated exterior mirrors, fog lamps, automatic high beams, and a proximity key fob that lets you enter your vehicle while the key is still in your pocket or purse!

The Latitude trim level also gives you the option to add the Driver Assistance Group Package which includes adaptive cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree surround view camera, parallel and perpendicular parking assist system, LED fog light, and a wireless charging pad.

Latitude Lux

The Latitude Lux is a step up from the Latitude, adding even more comfort features in addition to everything else you get with the Latitude trim level.

These advanced features include an eight-way power driver's seat, a forward collision warning system with emergency braking, an active lane management system with both pedestrian and cyclist detection, heated front seats, and larger 18" wheels.

Altitude

The Altitude trim level isn't exactly an upgrade from the Latitude Lux trim level, it's just different. It comes with everything the Latitude Lux trim level comes with, but it has slightly different exterior and interior features.

There's gloss black exterior detailing, paint black interior accents, and black interior stitching with this trim level. With the Altitude trim level, you just need to decide if you like the look of this trim level more than the appearance of the Latitude Lux trim level.

Limited

If you're looking for even more advanced features in your 2023 Jeep Compass, the Limited trim level is a great choice. It's the first trim level with heated leather-trimmed front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a dual-zone automatic climate control system.

Other advanced features that come with this trim level include an auto-dimming rearview mirror, rear parking sensors, a remote start system, and an adaptive cruise control system.

At this trim level, you can upgrade and get an Alpine audio system and a hands-free liftgate if you want. Finally, there are also a few package options for you to consider at this trim level.

First, the Driver Assist I package includes highway assist, traffic sign recognition, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree surround view camera, a wireless charging pad, and a parallel and perpendicular parking assist system.

Next, there's an Elite Group Package which includes LED projector headlights, LED fog lights, a foot-activated power liftgate, premium leather seating, a driver seat memory system, heated & ventilated front seats, a 10.25" instrument cluster, and a built-in navigation system.

RED

The RED trim level comes with everything you can find with the Limited trim level, but you get a unique appearance package to go with it. This includes red painted mirror caps, lower body cladding, and a red roof. The wheels also grow to 19", and there's black upholstery and unique RED badging throughout.

High Altitude

The High Altitude trim level combines all the appearance features of the Altitude trim level with all the comfort features of the Limited trim level. The high-altitude trim level also comes with LED projector-style headlights, LED fog lights, 19" wheels, a premium 9-speaker Alpine sound system, a panoramic sunroof, a 10.25" instrument cluster, and a built-in navigation system.

Trailhawk

If you're looking to take your 2023 Jeep Compass off-road, you'll want to strongly consider the Trailhawk trim level. It's the only Jeep Compass to include a Rock driving mode you can switch to when driving off-road, and it comes with other advanced off-road driving features.

These include red tow hooks, extra skid plates for more protection from off-road rocks and debris, and an updated front and rear fascia that makes it easier to climb and descend from various rugged terrain. The Trailhawk also comes with all-season on/off-road tires and unique badging throughout.

The Trailhawk has a few different package options for you to consider too, including the Trailhawk Convenience group package that includes an 8-way power driver's seat, a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, rear seat USB ports, front wiper de icers, and a remote start system.

Another package option includes the Driver Assist I group which includes highway assist, traffic sign recognition, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree surround view camera, a wireless charging pad, and a parallel and perpendicular parking assist system.
