• Turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine - The engine in your 2023 Jeep Compass is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. This engine gives you 200-horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque, which offers you 23 additional horsepower and 49 pound-feet of torque compared to the previous model year. This engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. 

Your Jeep comes standard with four-wheel drive, and offers you some off-road performance features. You can get a selec-terrain drive mode system that gives you the ability to choose between Snow, Sand, and Mud settings to give you the capability you need. You also can get features like hill descent control, all terrain tires, skid plates, tow hooks, and rock mode. If you get the Trailhawk trim, you will also get a 1-inch suspension lift for additional capability. You also have a little bit of towing capability with this SUV; you can tow up to 2,000 pounds when this vehicle is properly equipped. 

When it comes to fuel economy, this vehicle gives you about 24 city and 32 highway miles per gallon. This is decent fuel economy for a vehicle of this size.
