New 2024 Wrangler AEV Upfit Options Add Altitude

Now that the 2024 Jeep Wrangler is in full swing, it's worth discussing drivers' various AEV (American Expedition Vehicles) upfit options for their vehicles this year. Most notably, Jeep has introduced three AEV options for you:

  1. Upcountry
  2. Upcountry+
  3. Level II

Priced between $7,500 and $22,000, these additional performance packages can change how your Jeep Wrangler looks, drives, and performs on and off-road. Luckily, we're here to explain each kit, give price details, and help you make an AEV decision in 2024!

3 AEV Upfit Packages For The 2024 Jeep Wrangler

The rugged and all-new 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and Willys models are now brought to new heights with three American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) upfit options. Available for the first time on the more affordable Willys model, these kits offer Jeep drivers a chance to enhance their off-road handling and aesthetics on top of what they'll already find with this newest-gen release.

These upfit packages have varying costs, ranging from $7500 to $22,099. You can choose from the Upcountry, Upcountry+, and Level II AEV packages, with the Upcountry option being the cheapest.

From there, you have the middle-tier Upcountry+ AEV package and finish with the more extensive (and costly) Level II off-roading package.

Upcountry & Upcountry+ Kits for Wrangler Willys and Rubicon

Two-door versions of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler Willys and Rubicon cost $41,190 and $47,190, respectively. With the regular Upcountry kit, an additional $7476 will give you:

  • A 2.0-inch suspension lift.
  • 35-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires.
  • AEV-branded satin black Pintler wheels.
  • Extras like fender flare extensions and a spare-tire relocation kit from Jeep Performance Parts (JPP).

For $11,599, the Upcountry+ kit adds more enhancements, including AEV's EX front bumper, hot-stamped Boron steel construction, a front skid plate, and front camera relocation.

Therefore, it may be worth upgrading to Upcountry+ if the front bumper, steel construction, skid plate, and front camera positioning make a significant difference in your off-roading.

Wrangler's Level II Kit

This next AEV kit is exclusive to the Rubicon model. The Level II kit reflects the AEV-spec 2023 Wrangler 20th Anniversary Editions, which many still love. Priced at an additional $20,049 for the V-6 version and $22,099 for the 4xe plug-in hybrid, this top-tier package includes the following:

  • 37-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires
  • AEV-specific suspension + 2.5-inch lift and Bilstein dampers
  • AEV rear bumper
  • Off-road lights
  • A steering damper
  • A Zeon 10-S winch

Additionally, it adds specs from the Upcountry+ kit and showcases satin black AEV Savegre II wheels. It's the creme de la creme of the AEV upfit options for a 2024 Wrangler.

All of that extra height helps the Jeep manage 37.1 inches of water, plus provides 14.2 inches of ground clearance for on-land terrain. Other AEV clearances include a 50-degree approach angle, a 43-degree departure angle, and a 33-degree breakover angle.

Why An AEV Upfit Kit For The 2024 Jeep Wrangler Matters

Buying into the American Expedition Vehicles upfit selections for a 2024 Wrangler can be beneficial because of what drivers get from their Jeep. Although standard Wranglers are impressive and can handle off-roading, an AEV package boosts your car in all ways: tech, design, and ruggedness.

Jeep has announced AEV packages are on a first-come, first-serve basis, so that is something to keep in mind. Of course, here at Bournival Jeep in beautiful Portsmouth, New Hampshire, we're always here to help with your decision.
